Come vs Go

Come vs Go - (verb) when used to describe people and location
Come(来る)とGo(行く)という動詞は基本的に、人と場所の
位置関係によって使い分けます。
Look at the picture. I am the speaker. From my position, they are . . .
下の写真を見てください。ここでは、「Me/私」が話し手です。
"Come" is used when the distance between the speaker and
the subject gets shorter. "Go" is used when it gets farther.
"Come"は、話し手(私)と移動している人（主語に当たる人）の距離が
縮まっている場合に使い、 "Go"は逆に相手が遠ざかっていく場合に
使います。
"They are coming up the path." （近づいている）
"They are going down the road." （遠ざかっている）
PS (Post Script): Roads are for vehicles and paths are for people
and considerate bike riders, rollerbladers, and skateboarders.
追記：[Road/道路]は主に車道を示し、[Path/小道/遊歩道]は歩行者や
自転車、スケートボードなどが通る道を指します。
